The quilters meet on Thursday mornings at 8:30 in the church basement to for fellowship and fun while we work on the quilts.
Please join us to see what we are all about.
Supplies needed:
Sheets or large pieces of material
to be used for the backing
Inside batting
Monetary donations
Baby Care Kits
If you would like to help provide the items for baby care kits the list of what is needed is here.
We will make up the kits if you wish to donate some of the needed items:
2 lightweight cotton t-shirts
2 long or short sleeved gowns
2 receiving blankets
4 cloth diapers
2 pairs of sock
1 hand towel - dark colored
2 or 3 bars of gentle soap
2 diaper pins or large safety pins
School Kits
Items needed for the school kits are:
4 - 70 sheet notebooks
30-centimeter ruler
Pencil Sharpener
Blunt end safety scissors
5 unsharpened #2 pencils
5 ballpoint pens - blue or black
Box of 16 or 24 crayons
2 1/2" eraser
Drawstring backpack-style cloth bag
When you are out shopping and see some of these school supplies, please pick them up and we can make up the needed kits for many kids.
Personal Care Kits
Personal care kits are put together and sent to the ECLA for distribution.
Each kit contains items we use everyday and that some people do not have the means to get them.
Item included in the kit are:
dark colored, light-weight bath towel
size 20" x 40" to 52" x 27"
2 or 3 bars of soap
Adult toothbrush
Sturdy comb
Metal nail clippers
